Beuge Barrios

We are a boutique law firm that provides legal representation exclusively in Assisted Reproductive Technology.

Firm Overview

Our practice is exclusively dedicated to Assisted Reproductive Technology law and helping intended parents create their very own families.

We understand the legal complexities surrounding surrogacy. If contracts are not thoroughly drafted, legal issues will likely arise during the course of the surrogacy or after the child’s birth. To protect your rights in these complex legal proceedings, it is important that the rights and obligations of each party are carefully outlined, considered, negotiated, and contracted by an experienced attorney. Our goal is to navigate the legal challenges of this evolving field to protect your interests.

While many countries and some states prohibit surrogacy, Florida is a surrogacy-friendly state. We represent both domestic and international clients in gestational surrogacy agreements, preplanned adoptions, as well as egg, sperm and embryo donations. Our firm is proud to work with all types of families regardless of gender, sexual orientation, nationality, marital status, and/or race.
We are happy to provide a free consultation to discuss your reproductive legal needs.

Following law school, Roia gained significant litigation experience protecting the rights of indigent individuals on behalf of the government. In this role, Roia gained extensive trial experience, both bench and jury, and grew her passion for advocacy. After experiencing the joys of starting her own family, Roia witnessed her loved ones struggle to achieve the same goal, and as a result, she focuses her practice on surrogacy, egg donation, and cryopreservation agreements. As a breast cancer survivor, Roia has a unique and personal understanding of the growing need for Assisted Reproductive Technologies.
